Start meetings on time
Just start the meeting exactly 1 minute past the meeting start time (e.g. when the clock ticks over from :30 to :31).
Stragglers will quickly learn that if they want to make the start of the meeting they need to be there by then.
Slightly disagree. Optimal starting time varies between 1 minute and 5 minutes depending on (a) the number of participants in the meeting + importance of them being there, and (b) their hierarchical relationship to you.
